Why does Belgium need a revolution ?

For many years walloon and flemish politicians tried to divide and weaken the state of Belgium.
First it was the french speakers who didn't recognize the flemish community, then it was the flemishes who wanted a revenge. Now politicians and medias are trying to separate definitly the country. In Flanders they say that walloons are lazy and poor. In Wallonia they say that Flemishes are racist and separatist. This stupid conflict between the two biggest parts of the country is awful for both people and economy.

Recently, elections put NV-A and FDF (a separatist flemish party and a french speaker defender party) on the government but their war is contaminating the other moderate parties CD&V (Christian flemishs), OpenVLD (liberal flemish), MR (liberal french speakers) and cdH (Christian french speakers). Indeed, they are trying to create a new government for more than 150 days.

Today many belgians are getting scared about it and put belgian flags ont their windows, especially in the french speaker south, the lies of the politicians and televisions are persuading the population that Belgium is an impossible country.

Because I disagree. Because I love my country, its democratic system, its freedom, its good life and its multiculturality I say that is enough ! It's time for more than flags on the windows. More than petition who have not a single effect on politicians. We need to do more than that. We need a revolution.

2 - Belgium, a product of separatism, is divided. it's more about stopping to pretend it's not. Flanders and Wallonie are two countries imprisoned in a Belgian state. The question is not "if" but when it will finally stop to exist. Flanders and Wallonie are both in the European Community, why do we need this "wrapping" in between called "Belgium"? It's like putting a bag in a bag, only to sustain an undemocratic royal family that interbreed to keep the blue blood flowing and to keep their position.

Republic Flanders... NOW !!!!! (Comment this)

3 - really? and what about the economic crisis that is coming? you do not have to be big-brained to realize that we can do it better together. I do agree with the fact that we are divided now. But I do not like black or white. The federal system OR a republic Flanders. No thank you. I choose grey. I choose confederalism. Because I am proud to be Flemish, but I am also proud to be Belgian. Because I know that some things are better together. Pitty that that is such a contradiction nowadays..
Pitty that I have to explain to every single Walloon that I know the Flemish Lion by heart, and have a flemish flag in my room. but that I am not a separatist. I love Belgium just as much as I love Flanders. I think we should all have the right to feel that way. To think grey.
I hate it that not a single person in Brussels seems to understand that keeping Belgium and doing something about economic problems (the Walloon vision) and change the structures in Belgium (the Flemish vision) are in fact easy to realize together. That we are talking about two goals who shouldn't stand against eachother, but who can both work in a confederal state. *sigh* (Comment this)
